The plans for the widening of the Brussels Ring, commissioned by the Flemish Government were drawn up, with 12, 15 or 17 lanes according to the place. Flanders has lost the control over the emissions of greenhouse gases in the transport sector . And yet ,the large Flemish parties keep supporting these projects while the sustainable alternatives are known.
